Kaitlyn and Conrad are a super sweet couple with a great love of the outdoors. This made their Agar’s Corner wedding the perfect setting! A little bit of rain meant the outdoor wedding ceremony had to be moved inside, but that didn’t stop the laughter and tears one bit. Also I’m just going to let you in on a little secret here… when couples are saying their vows, I’m getting a bit choked up behind my camera. It never fails. But when grooms cry, well, look out. Conrad definitely wore his heart on his sleeve as his bride walked down the aisle, and let’s just say I’m thankful I had a job to focus on! :)
I adored this couple’s style so much. Offbeat wedding dresses are one of my favorite things, and Kaitlyn chose to forgo the traditional white gown for the most stunning peachy-pink dress and some killer black and silver cowboy boots. Conrad and the guys wore jeans and custom-embroidered Converse sneakers. I just love it when clients step outside the box and do things their way! The decor was just the right mix of old and new – vintage crocks and barrels, mason jars and lace, but with a colorful modern twist of peacock greens, purples and blues. And don’t forget to check out the wedding favors – little chocolate cows, a nod to Kaitlyn’s love of cattle as a 5th generation Hereford breeder.
The day was damp but there could be no damper on this celebration, and Conrad’s aunties made sure the dancing went late into the night.
Also check out Kaitlyn and Conrad’s after-session, complete with – you guessed it – cows!
