Sophie and Kyle met online. After their first date over Sunday afternoon crêpes, they knew something special was about to happen. It didn’t take long to find out that they were right. On a snowboarding trip to Austria, Kyle proposed outside of a beautiful chalet overlooking the Alps.
Sophie is originally from Vancouver and they now live in Edmonton. But because they met here, they wanted their engagement photos in Saskatoon. When they arrived at Cranberry Flats, they uttered the words I didn’t even realize my heart was longing to hear: “We brought our cat, is that ok?” WHAT! Ok, so they were on their way out of town afterwards, and he was just along for the ride. Not that you need an excuse to bring your cat to your session (just sayin’). Sweet little Flapjack was totally willing to pose for a few photos with his mom and dad. I’m not generally into trends, but if cats at engagement sessions becomes a thing, I’d be totally on board with that.
Sophie and Kyle are planning their wedding near Vancouver next August. They’re looking forward to getting all of their loved ones together to celebrate, with lots of good food and dancing. Wishing you all the best for a memorable day and a beautiful marriage!
