Madison’s Saskatoon High School Grad Photos
A country road lined with thistle taller than myself. Tall grass, blooming canola, sun streaming through the trees, a field of foxtail barley. I’d had my eye on this location for ages, driving past it every day on my way into the city, saying I really need to plan a grad session there. Finally, a few years back, I got around to organizing one. As I drove by the day before the shoot, I noticed it had been mowed to the ground. This year I had better luck. And I was right: it really was the perfect place for Madison’s Saskatoon high school grad photos.
Madison is an absolute athletic powerhouse. She comes from a long line of curlers, and what started out as a family activity has turned into Olympic goals. She’s also an avid rower and volunteer. She now calls Halifax home, where she’s studying kinesiology at Dalhousie while continuing to pursue her athletic dreams. She’s positive and upbeat and smiley as all heck, a blast to hang out with as well as a total mosquito-crushing trooper. We had so much fun exploring the area that by the time we made it to that thistle-lined road that beckoned me in the first place, we were out of light – oops! Thanks for a great evening Madison, and here’s to crushing those goals <3
