Leisa and Zac’s Backyard Wedding in Prince Albert
The summer sun beat down on the acreage just outside of Prince Albert. It was the first day of what would be a week-long heat wave. Family and friends gathered under the shade of old farmyard trees, pressing cold water bottles to their foreheads, fanning themselves with whatever they could find.
Leisa and Zac‘s two adorable nieces made their way up the aisle, taking their petal-scattering duties very seriously. When Leisa made her grand entrance on her father’s arm, Zac couldn’t hold back his tears. The sense of joy and excitement buzzed in the air, despite the heat of the day. Leisa and Zac exchanged their vows under the ceremony arch, their promises to one another carried on a warm breeze. Afterwards, the guests blew bubbles as the newlyweds laughed their way back up the aisle.
Leisa and Zac chose to celebrate their big day in a way that reflected their love for the outdoors and gathering with loved ones. A backyard wedding was the perfect way to spend the day in a way that felt true to them. Furthermore, they wanted their wedding day to be fun and relaxed, just like the backyard parties and BBQs that they love to host. Their backyard wedding in Prince Albert was a beautiful reminder of how a simple and intimate wedding can be just as meaningful and special as a grand one. Indeed, it’s a great option for couples looking for a relaxed, intimate and personal way to celebrate their love.
After the ceremony, the wedding party returned to Leisa and Zac’s to relax in the deep shade of their yard. Down the road, a quonset crammed full of antiques was transformed into a reception space teeming with vintage elegance. Chandeliers hung from the ceiling, with a backdrop of barnwood and old windows behind the head table. The vintage theme carried throughout the decor, with plenty of greenery and florals adding a graceful touch of nature.
During the speeches, laughter and tears were plentiful as Leisa and Zac’s family and friends shared memories and well wishes. A sudden but welcome rainstorm passed through, washing away the heat of the day. As guests hit the dance floor, a warm mist rose in the dying light of sunset, adding a magical atmosphere to the evening and the perfect dreamy end to a beautiful day.
Congratulations, Leisa and Zac!
