Cate’s Cherry Blossom Photos in Saskatoon at Prairie Cherry Pit
Meet Cate, 2022 graduate of Waldheim School! Cate is a unique and talented young woman who has found her passion in the world of artistic swimming. As a competitive artistic swimmer and coach with the Saskatoon Aqualenes, Cate brings hard work, dedication and positivity every time she hits the pool. Her graduation dress was even her swim team’s color – talk about making a statement!
For her grad photos, Cate dreamed of a location that reflected her love of flowers, magic, and all things whimsical. Cherry blossom photos seemed like the natural choice! We hit the location jackpot at Prairie Cherry Pit, just outside of Saskatoon. This sour cherry farm was the perfect setting, with its delicate, snow white cherry blossoms in full bloom against Cate’s deep red gown. The sun even made a perfectly timed appearance through the flowers, adding an extra touch of magic to the fairytale vibe.
Cate’s natural talent and charm shone in front of the camera, her grace echoing her artistic background. She was also a joy to be around, keeping us laughing until the sun went down. She even braved the chilly breeze for a few moments longer so we could capture some final sunset photos on the grid road outside the farm.
Cate’s vision for her session captured not only the optimism of spring but the essence of new beginnings, perfect metaphors for this important milestone. Congratulations on your graduation, Cate – and don’t ever lose your magic.
Special thank you to Amanda at Prairie Cherry Pit for the invitation to your beautiful farm!
