Cecile and Justin’s Danceland wedding was a celebration full of love and laughter. The salon was filled with giggles and the buzz of anticipation, as friends and family members dropped in to chat during hair and makeup. Then it was off to Cecile’s family farm to get dressed. Cecile’s sister presented her with the stunning brooch bouquet she had created for her. Her mom buttoned up her dress and her sisters helped with shoes and jewellery, in the living room where so many family milestones had already been celebrated.
Cecile is a piano teacher and Justin plays both piano and guitar, so music is very important to them both. The church was full of song as Cecile arrived, while Justin waited patiently in the wings, joking with his groomsmen. Both the ring bearer and flower girl took their jobs very seriously as they preceded Cecile down the aisle. After a beautiful ceremony and an emotional receiving line, it was time to cruise down to Manitou Beach in the 1965 Plymouth Fury III loaned to them for the big occasion.
The rain teased all afternoon but held off until supper, when the sky suddenly opened up. Cecile and Justin met playing volleyball and were determined to commemorate that with some photos done on the beach volleyball court at Mike’s Beach Bar, despite the rain. It’s always worth braving the weather for photos, especially when they are such an important part of your story! After a quick beer, it was back to Danceland for some hilarious speeches before testing out that world famous horsehair dance floor, which the band kept hopping well into the night.
Congratulations, Cecile and Justin, on a perfect day, and “welcome to your beginning”!
“We have worked with Tracy twice now – engagement and wedding photos. We loved our experience with her and loved our photos! She keeps it fun and relaxed and things never look too posed! She is someone who works so well with natural light – trust me – you won’t be disappointed with your photos if you choose her!”
