Cole’s Grad Photos in Delisle

Cole is a 2024 graduate from Tommy Douglas Collegiate! The youngest of four siblings, this session marked the third time I’ve had the privilege of capturing Delisle grad photos for this family! I first met them back in 2018 for his brother Josh’s grad session, then again in 2022 with his sister Carrie. Now it was Cole’s turn, and it was a perfect way to celebrate this chapter for the family.

We started the session with a few picturesque spots around the farm. The family’s big red barn, which had been a staple of his siblings’ photos, is no longer standing. However, Cole’s dad saved the classic barn door, which made the perfect backdrop, both rustic and sentimental. We also included the treehouse Cole built with his dad, adding a touch of meaningful nostalgia to the session. If you’re considering where to have your grad photos taken, Cole’s session is a great reminder that choosing a place with personal significance makes your photos even more special.

We saved one of the most iconic props for later in the session: the family’s ’66 Plymouth Satellite. This classic car has been a centerpiece in every sibling’s grad photos. With Cole being the last kid to graduate, this time an epic burnout was in order!

Cole’s connection to the farm shines through in everything he does. A fan of football, wrestling, and curling, he’s just as passionate about farming. It’s no surprise he’s heading to Lakeland College in Vermilion this fall to study agronomy -a perfect fit for his love of agriculture and the land. Congratulations, Cole, on your graduation and all your hard work, and best of luck at Lakeland!
