Megan’s Colorful Fall Graduation Photos in Saskatoon

Say hello to Megan, a 2022 graduate from Walter Murray Collegiate in Saskatoon! Megan knew she wanted to capture the beauty of the fall leaves in her grad photos. Therefore, we waited until the beginning of October to do her session! I know I say it all the time, but there’s no rule that you have to do your grad photos in June. Because seriously, look what you can get if you wait!

By the time her session rolled around, Megan was already a month into studying animal bioscience at the University of Saskatchewan. Taking a well-deserved break from studying for her midterms, we met up at the riverbank near the Meewasin Trail. It was the ideal autumn evening to explore the area and take some beautiful photos. The colors were stunning, and the golden evening light cast a perfect warm glow over everything. Megan even brought her two adorable pups along for a few photos!

Megan was a blast to work with – adventurous and up for anything. It was fun to chat with her as we wandered the trails and riverbank, looking for the best spots with those colorful leaves. I may have even been up to my knees in the frigid river at one point to get the angle that I wanted (totally worth it). The area was super busy that day with fall family photos going on all around us, but we held out for golden hour and ended up having the place to ourselves.
