Bridget’s Abandoned Greenhouse Grad Pictures in Saskatoon
I drove past this greenhouse for years. First it was a thriving business, then suddenly it sat empty. It was the perfect unique location for some Saskatoon grad pictures. I thought about tracking down the owner, but then they started to tear it down. I thought I’d missed my chance. But they stopped part way through, and it just sat there again! I knew it wouldn’t be long until the rest of it came down and I’d kick myself, so I found the owner and got permission. It wasn’t hard to convince Bridget to do some grad photos there!
Bridget absolutely rocked this grad session. I had a vision in mind for this location, with her sparkly dress and fiery hair juxtaposed against the broken down buildings, and just a touch of attitude. She totally nailed it, and then some. One of her images placed in the top 2% in the Seniors and Teens category in this year’s Shoot and Share contest – out of almost 40,000 images – with a second image placing in the top 20%!
Bridget graduated from Rosetown Central High School last year. She spent this year at the U of S crushing her first year of Dentistry prerequisites. An avid athlete and total people person, this gal’s future has success written all over it! Thanks for the adventure Bridget and best wishes!

I have such a passion for derelict locations, but around here they’re hard to come by. I was so excited to discover this one and get permission to use it! Thank you so much!
