Amishi’s Grad Portraits in Saskatoon at Cranberry Flats
Meet Amishi, a 2024 grad who’s already doing amazing things! She spent part of last summer volunteering at a preschool in Tanzania, and is now at the University of Saskatchewan studying biomedical sciences. Amishi’s grad portraits in Saskatoon were just as vibrant and full of personality as she is, complete with her bright orange Dodge Challenger and her adorable beagle, Daisy.
We kicked off the session with her car on a dead-end road. The bold orange of the Dodge Challenger was the perfect contrast to her bright pink dress. The combo brought some serious drama to the photos! From there, we headed out to Cranberry Flats. Daisy joined in for some adorable shots as the golden hour sun lit up the natural beauty of the trails and fields.
Then, as the evening went on, we made our way down to the riverbank. With the river running low, we could venture right down to the water’s edge, where the lush greenery and reflections on the calm water added a peaceful vibe to the session. Indeed, it was the perfect spot to showcase Amishi’s natural grace and poise – no surprise, given her many years as a figure skater!
We wrapped up the night high on the bluffs overlooking the river. The sunset understood the assignment, painting the sky in stunning shades of pink and purple that perfectly matched Amishi’s dress. It was the ultimate grand finale.
Amishi, you were so much fun to work with, and I loved capturing this exciting time in your life! Good luck with your studies!
