Music rang out from the best man’s house, where Guy was getting ready with the boys. If you read Kim and Guy’s engagement story, you already know he’s a pretty romantic guy. It was only natural that he had another surprise for Kim up his sleeve that day. Out at Kim and Guy’s acreage, the girls arrived in a flutter of shoes, dresses, and laughter, while Kim’s mom helped her with her buttons and veil in the front room.
The beautiful, century-old church in Albertville was packed with family and friends to witness their union. There was no hiding the emotion in the room, and tears filled both Kim and Guy’s eyes as Kim walked down the aisle. Afterwards, the well-wishes spilled out onto the stairs outside, with laughter and hugs until the couple made their getaway in Guy’s beloved 1981 Corvette.
Back at their acreage later that afternoon, finally alone together for the first time, they thought back on their day. Guy told her how he’d felt watching her walk in, as they stood in the cool shade of their backyard, Kim with her bare feet on the land on which they will build their lives.
Their Plaza 88 reception was the perfect romantic, purple, twinkly evening that Kim had envisioned. After some touching tributes by family and friends, Guy revealed his surprise for Kim. His voice quivered occasionally with emotion as he sang a song just for her, accompanied by his brother on the guitar. Afterwards, they walked down to the river to catch their breaths, and also caught a stunning sunset.
Congratulations Kim and Guy on your perfect, romantic day, and to another exciting year as your family begins to grow!
“Tracy did our Wedding pictures and also our engagement pictures for us this past year. My husband and I were blown away by the memories she captured for us. She was great to work with and was so accommodating. When we were looking for a wedding photographer the thing that we really liked about her was that with her wedding package she offered an actual wedding album. It made us feel better about spending money on a photographer and not just receive a USB. Also how Tracy presents herself and the finished products is truly special. It made receiving our wedding images and album so exciting. 10 out of 10 times I would recommend Tracy to do anyone’s pictures. :)”
