Katlyn and Nathan’s Rural Saskatoon Engagement Photos near Waldheim
Katlyn and Nathan are high school sweethearts who met at summer camp and never looked back. They celebrated their tenth year together last fall: a decade of growing up and growing together, of pushing each other’s comfort zones, of long deep conversations and ones that end crying from laughter.
We met up at Katlyn’s family acreage near Waldheim, where their wedding will be held. Their sweet pup/ring bearer Kaius joined us for some photos as we explored the property, excitedly visualizing their wedding day. After that, we ventured out to a stunning spot overlooking the South Saskatchewan River, in an area where they often take Kaius for walks. Nathan had to 4×4 us through some crazy hills to get us there, but the best locations are always worth the adventure. We took full advantage of the view, chasing the golden light through the hills overlooking the river until it disappeared.
Speaking of bumpy rides, navigating the ups and downs of wedding planning during a pandemic was definitely not something these two had anticipated. However, they were not deterred from making this year the one in which they said I Do, “to celebrate how far we have come and how much we have left to grow as a couple.” Much love to these two, and here’s to a lifetime of always growing together <3
