Saskatoon Grad Photographer: Wyatt’s Tommy Douglas Collegiate Graduation Photos

I first met Wyatt when I shot his mom Shannon’s wedding to Fred back in 2020. He helped Shannon buckle her wedding shoes that morning, and walked her down the aisle that afternoon. He’d probably be embarrassed by this (sorry Wyatt), but it was immediately obvious what a great kid he was. So needless to say, I was over the moon when Shannon contacted me to capture his graduation photos.

Wyatt arrived on location in style, wearing a suit that was particularly special to him. It was the same suit his grandfather wore 53 years ago on his wedding day! The classic blue suit was in pristine condition, and Wyatt had added his own personal touch through his purple and silver tie and pocket square. It was a fitting tribute to his grandparents and added such a special touch to his photos.

It was a beautiful evening to explore the quiet park, with the golden sun low in the sky. During the session, I couldn’t help but notice how much Wyatt resembled a certain famous actor. When I mentioned it to him, he laughed and told me he had actually won a celebrity look alike contest for how much he resembled Tom Cruise, particularly in Risky Business.

Wyatt’s a graduate of Tommy Douglas Collegiate in Saskatoon. A multi-talented athlete, he keeps busy all year long with hockey, ball, and golf, while still finding time to hang out with his family and friends. With plans to kick start a career in construction, there’s no doubt he’ll excel wherever this takes him!
