Katie’s Saskatoon Grad Pictures by the South Saskatchewan River
Saskatoon grad pictures downtown always have a special charm, with all of the iconic locations along the river, and Katie’s session was no exception! A 2024 graduate of Holy Cross High School, Katie brought so much personality and energy to her shoot. A multi-talented Swiftie, Katie has been dancing since she was three years old, plays classical guitar, loves singing, and is a devoted bookworm too!
For her session, we chose a downtown photo walk along the river. We started on the lush green trails near the riverbank, with the University Bridge providing a classic Saskatoon backdrop. It was a lovely surprise to find such a quiet and peaceful spot tucked right in the heart of the city. Katie even brought along her guitar!
As we ventured further into the heart of downtown, we explored some fresh perspectives of the Bessborough Hotel. Naturally, we had to stop at the vibrant blue wall nearby, which perfectly matched Katie’s blue grad dress and her Nike Dunks with blue trim – definitely the best grad shoes of 2024! From there, we made our way to a parkade rooftop for another unique perspective on the iconic Bess.
Finally, we returned to the riverbank, making our way to the Broadway Bridge to capture the day’s last light. The sun setting over the river painted the perfect golden glow, ending Katie’s session with a spin on yet another quintessential Saskatoon view.
Congratulations, Katie! It was so fun to celebrate all the things that make you uniquely you. Best of luck in engineering at the University of Saskatchewan. With your creativity and determination, you’re going to do amazing things!
