Saskatoon LGBTQ Wedding Photographer: Emily and Taylor’s Regina Wedding
The hotel room was already pretty full. All of Emily and Taylor‘s bridesmaids were there, relaxing while they had their hair and makeup done, Team Bride cups in hand. And people just kept on arriving – their moms, the groomsmen, more family, more friends. These two clearly have a lot of people who wanted to be there for them. The excited energy in the room was high. However, the nerves dissipated instantly when their adorable son Finn arrived, ready to get his ringbearer suit on!
After a quick stop at the hotel bar, it was go time! With standing room only at the ceremony, Emily and Taylor walked down the aisle with their dads. After a moment for hugs, they united on stage, ready to say their vows. The love and support in the room was palpable throughout the ceremony. It spilled out into the hotel concourse as family and friends crowded around to congratulate them.
Finally, it was time to celebrate! Emily and Taylor had envisioned their day as fun, lighthearted, and a little silly – definitely words to describe the scene in the packed party bus! With singing, dancing, and of course some champagne, the brides even squared off in a pull-up challenge. The November prairie day was chilly for their outdoor photos, but their amazing wedding party pulled together to help make photos in the wind and snow quick and fun.
Back at the hotel, everyone jumped to their feet and cheered as Taylor and Emily entered their reception to “I Kissed a Girl” – one of the moments they’d been looking forward to the most. Their colorful rainbow reception decor made the perfect backdrop to the funny and heartfelt toasts, song tributes, games, and a surprise visit from Yoda. The high energy fun of the day carried through to a full dance floor for the rest of the night.
Emily and Taylor are expecting their second child next month, and this sweet family deserves all the fun, laughter and love that they have coming their way. Congratulations, you two!
