Summer’s Senior Photos in Saskatoon along the Meewasin Trail
Meet Summer, a 2023 graduate of Hafford Central School! Summer is a talented lifelong Ukrainian dancer who also enjoys volleyball, singing, and playing guitar. Summer made the trip in to Saskatoon for her senior photos. She wanted to incorporate the beauty along the river as the backdrop for her session. As soon as she told me that, I knew just the spot!
This location along the Meewasin Trail is a hidden gem that is fast becoming one of my favorites for high school senior photos in Saskatoon. With its winding paths through the tall trees, it undoubtedly feels like a secluded retreat far removed from the center of the city. Yet it’s conveniently located, perfect for grad photos. Without a doubt, there’s so much variety here too! From trees to fields of grass, flowers (ok, flowering weeds, but they work just as well!), and even a cute little beaver pond. The trail also offers stunning hazy light at golden hour and a breathtaking view of the city skyline and sunset across the South Saskatchewan River – all of my favourite things!
Summer’s session was a delight from start to finish. Her cheerful and down-to-earth vibe shone through in every photo, making the entire shoot a joy. Her genuine smile and easygoing nature made it easy to capture her true essence. I have no doubt that her positive energy will lead her to great success wherever life takes her next. Congratulations, Summer, on your graduation and best of luck in all your future endeavors!
