Amanda and Kelly’s 25th Anniversary Photos in Saskatoon

Amanda and Kelly celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary this summer! They met at Cheers Pub (now the Thirsty Scholar) in 1992 and have been making each other laugh ever since. Eventually, after spending 17 years in BC’s lower mainland, they moved back to Saskatoon 12 years ago with their two daughters and adorable mini goldendoodle. When they’re not spending time with their granddaughter, they enjoy going on road trips, camping, watching Formula 1, and shopping.

Amanda and Kelly wanted to commemorate this milestone with a photoshoot to capture the essence of their relationship: the laughter and love they share together. Since they chose to do the session down by the river, I scouted out the perfect spot to spend the evening. Turns out that Amanda and Kelly enjoy fishing, and the location I chose is one where Kelly has spent a lot of time doing just that. Fun fact: according to Kelly, there are seven species of fish in this part of the river! Amanda mentioned that Kelly never makes her touch the worm or fish when they’re out fishing. Can I just say, if that’s not love, I don’t know what is!

Amanda loves how Kelly always makes her laugh. Kelly’s just happy she still appreciates his humor even after 30 years together. As a result, they spent the evening doing what they do best: making each other smile. So from giggling like teenagers to full-on belly laughs as we explored the riverbank together, their photoshoot was a beautiful way to capture the love and happiness they share.
