Meredith and Travis’ Middle Lake Wedding

“I choose you… today and every day and as no one other than your true authentic self.”

Meredith and Travis planned their Middle Lake wedding for late October, after harvest. Meredith and her girls got ready at home on the farm, with mom standing by to help Meredith with the finishing touches. Travis and the guys hung out at a groomsman’s farm down the road before joining Meredith at home for a sweet first look in their backyard. The weather had taken a chilly turn a few days prior, but the fall leaves held on to provide a stunning backdrop for their photos.

Then it was time to tie the knot! The beautiful vows that Meredith and Travis wrote together brought tears to many eyes in the room. The couple also paid tribute to their parents during the ceremony by presenting each of them with a rose. Their darling daughter Tenley, dressed in a tutu and a flower crown to match mommy’s, joined them to walk up the aisle as a family.

Meredith and Travis’ wedding day brought together so many family and friends to make it a dream come true. Travis’ mom grew the succulents that went into the bouquets designed by Meredith’s cousin. Family and friends provided live music, grew fields of pumpkins for the decor, baked a stunning whimsical woodland cake, and served up the pizza supper. Meredith’s sister sang their first dance song. Through these and far too many other things to list, the love and support of so many people touched their day from start to finish.

Meredith and Travis had one main goal for their wedding – have fun and enjoy the day! Their reception was full of heartfelt speeches and hilarious moments, including an especially memorable ukulele serenade. Instead of a bouquet toss, Meredith had all the ladies (single or not) join her on the dance floor to “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.” When the song ended, she threw the bouquet and the catcher won a wine basket – what a fun idea! The dance floor filled up, the party kicked into high gear, and to Meredith’s delight, “there’s no one to tell us when our wedding night is over!”
