Hannah’s Urban, Modern Saskatoon Grad Photos at River Landing

As a photographer in Saskatoon, I am always on the lookout for new and exciting locations to try. When Hannah requested a modern urban vibe for her grad photos, I knew River Landing would be the perfect spot. With its tall glass buildings, colorful lights, and fun details everywhere, there was opportunity for variety around every corner. I can’t believe I’d never shot there before! You don’t see a lot of shiny buildings in my work, and I loved the chance to try something a bit different!

Hannah is a talented violin and piano player and an R&B music lover who graduated from Centennial Collegiate. She loves kids, and although she thought about becoming a teacher, she wanted to do more, so decided to pursue a career in pediatrics! Hannah is such a sweet and smiley person, and it was a pleasure to capture her grad photos.

We had so much fun exploring River Landing! Even though we had to skip a couple of the spots I wanted to use because there was a salsa dancing class, the music added a fun energy to the session! Hannah’s little sister served as my trusty voice activated light stand, and her mom was an expert dress fluffer. It was a team effort to make sure her photos were perfect! The session ended with me laying in the middle of a roundabout in the dark. It turned out to be one of our mutual favourite images from the evening!
