Hannah’s Graduation Photos: Holy Cross High School Class of 2022

Meet Hannah, a 2022 graduate of Holy Cross High School! I was first introduced to this awesome family when I did her brother Andre’s grad photos back in 2018. This year was definitely the year of the younger siblings – I was fortunate to be reunited with three families who I’d worked with in the past! It was such an honor to hear from Hannah, and to capture another milestone for this family.

Open-minded and fun, Hannah is a multi-talented individual who enjoys music and singing. She’s also into sports, trying her hand at a little bit of everything. Hannah brought her saxophone along for a few shots, as she played in the jazz band at school. She envisioned her session in a forested area, with many big trees and green leaves with the sun shining through. So we started the session at golden hour at the old Sanatorium Site, which was the perfect location for her vision. She’s a nature lover, so it was great to photograph her in her element.

After that, we headed down to the river at Gabriel Dumont Park to catch the sunset over the water. After grad, Hannah was off to South Africa to visit family for the summer. The beachy river setting was perfect for the shots with the South African flag she brought with her as a prop. We made sure to capture that part of her identity in the photos while also showing off that stunning dress!

The future looks bright for Hannah, who is currently in her first year of science at University of Saskatchewan, with plans to become a doctor. Congratulations on your graduation Hannah, and good luck with your future goals!
